Their near-monolithic nickel content delivers superior resistance to reducing acids and caustic alkalies—critical for chemical-process vessels, piping, and pumps—while avoiding stress-corrosion cracking in chloride solutions. With excellent weldability and ductility (elongation up to 40 %), they can be formed into complex geometries without compromising toughness. Ni 200 Plates exhibit high thermal conductivity (70.3 W/m·K at 20 °C) and electrical conductivity, making them ideal for heat-exchanger panels, electrical contacts, and semiconductor-processing equipment. Their high melting range (1435 – 1446 °C) and stable mechanical properties across − 196 °C to 400 °C ensure reliability in cryogenic to elevated-temperature applications.
